About Michelle
Explorer of people, possibility and the human experience
Some of my earliest memories are of exploring in nature and asking lots of questions.
I was fascinated by the world around me, but even more by the world within and between us.
I was undoubtedly a people watcher drawn to understanding what sits beneath the surface.
That curiosity became a lifelong exploration.
Where it began
Where it led
Studying Anthropology at Durham university deepened my fascination of people, culture and behaviour and the forces shaping how we live and work together.
That curiosity took me into organisations across the world. Over the next 25 years I worked as a HR leader, leadership coach and consultant, client director and business founder spending more than a decade living and working in Australia and across Asia-Pacific.
Along the way I partnered with leaders, teams and organisations navigating growth, complexity and change across different cultures, systems and contexts - from Ford Motor Company and Deloitte to government, education and small businesses.
Yet beneath the roles, companies and projects, I was always exploring the same questions: what shapes human experience, and what helps people, teams and communities thrive?
My work today is an ongoing exploration of what it means to be human; how we relate, lead, create, belong and make change.
I explore alongside individuals, teams and organisations as they begin to see themselves, each other and the wider systems they are part of more clearly.
I am fascinated by what becomes possible for ourselves and our world when we begin to explore more deeply.
